Second Location

The second place that we had camps was at Goshen Community Church. It is a beautiful little church near the Nooksack reservation. A happy pastor and his wife live in the parsonage by the church and were a great encouragement and role model for me. At this camp one child came to Christ and we were able to build strong relationships with several others. It is probably the camp that I feel the best about and have many happy memories talking with the kids and playing around with them. Also it was a great group of kids to experiment with various tactics for teaching Bible lessons. The beloved Peter brought great amusement to every one, Edmund was almost adopted as a daddy, and Susan and Lucy were by far the coolest people in the world to hang out with. Yes, there were many happy memories at that camp. There were also many many tears. Satan doesn't like the joy that we felt in our work on the unity that we could have had or the children who responded readily to the gospel and to the applications of the Bible lesson. This being said, we know that our God wins!
